Scoremi (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI-powered recruitment intelligence platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our Service.

We are committed to data minimisation — we only collect what is necessary to deliver the Service and we never monetise your data.

Data We Collect

Account Data: Company name, contact email, billing details (processed by Paddle — we never store raw card data), and subscription information.

Candidate Data: Resume files, evaluation scores, and any metadata uploaded by your hiring team. Processed on your behalf as a data processor.

Usage Data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited — used solely for platform improvement and security monitoring.

Communications: Any messages you send to our support team.

How We Use Your Data

  • To deliver, operate, and improve the Scoremi platform.
  • To authenticate users and maintain account security.
  • To process payments through Paddle (Merchant of Record).
  • To send transactional emails — invoices, account alerts, product updates.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We will not use your data for advertising, unrelated profiling, or sale to third parties.

No AI Training on Your Data

Our Commitment

Scoremi does not use resumes, candidate profiles, evaluation results, or your company’s proprietary hiring rubrics to train, fine-tune, or improve any foundational AI model — ours or any third party’s.

Candidate data is processed transiently to generate evaluations and is not retained in AI model weights. We use established AI APIs under zero-data-retention configurations where available.

Sharing & Subprocessors

We do not sell your data. We share data only with the following trusted subprocessors, each bound by data processing agreements:

Security

  • TLS 1.2+ encryption for all data in transit.
  • Encryption at rest for all stored files and database records.
  • Role-based access controls — only authorised personnel can access production systems.
  • Regular security reviews and dependency auditing.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon termination:

  • Candidate resumes and evaluation data — deleted within 30 days.
  • Account and billing records — retained up to 7 years for legal and tax compliance.
  • Anonymised usage analytics — may be retained indefinitely.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to certain types of processing.
  • Restriction — request we limit how we process your data.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us. We will respond within 30 days. For GDPR we are prepared to enter into a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Scoremi uses minimal cookies necessary to operate the platform:

  • Authentication cookies — to keep you logged in during a session.
  • Preference cookies — to remember your UI settings.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance.
